Henry M. Morris is president of the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) in San Diego, California. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. For twenty-eight years he has served on the faculties of major universities, including thirteen years as chairman of the Civil Engineering Department at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Morris and his associates at ICR have for many years been evangelical Christianity’s foremost defenders of Biblical creationism in the creation versus evolution arena.

Dr. Morris’ many titles include, SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE, EVOLUTION AND THE MODERN CHRISTIAN, THE BIBLICAL BASIS FOR MODERN SCIENCE, THE GENESIS RECORD, THE TWILIGHT OF EVOLUTION, and THE GENESIS FLOOD (with John C Whitcomb).

The reliability of God’s Word is under fire today. Man distrusts the Bible as an authoritative source of scientific information. Young people in all public and many private schools are being systematically indoctrinated with evolutionary philosophy today. The truths of Christian theism and Biblical Christianity are dogmatically and arbitrarily denied, ridiculed, or ignored as irrelevant.
